The DUAL PATTY is a high-performance, functional surgical patty developed by ENDOVISION Co., Ltd.. It is specifically engineered to maintain a clear surgical field by absorbing blood and exudate while suppressing its re-release during delicate procedures.

1. Key Features and Technology

The core innovation of the DUAL PATTY lies in its blood suppression technology. It utilizes the positive ions (+) of chitosan to aggregate the negative ions (-) found in blood components, such as platelets and red blood cells. This chemical interaction ensures that once blood is absorbed, it remains trapped within the patty, providing superior visibility compared to traditional cellulose surgical patties.

Furthermore, the product is designed for excellent quality and durability, boasting a tensile strength of 800gf or more for the standard model and 200gf or more for the "Thin" model. It also features a usage quantity check display to assist surgical staff in monitoring the number of patties used.

2. Specialized Product Lineup

The DUAL PATTY is categorized into two main types to suit different surgical requirements:

• DUAL PATTY (Standard): This model is optimized for Spine, Orthopedics (Arthro), and E.N.T. surgeries. It is designed to protect nerves and blood vessels gently, reducing the risk of tissue damage while managing large amounts of fluids.

   

• DUAL PATTY Thin: Specifically designed for Brain surgery and neurosurgery. Its thinner profile (approximately 0.55mm) allows for easy manipulation in narrow surgical corridors and ensures excellent contact on curved anatomical areas.

   

3. Versatility and Design

Beyond neurosurgery and orthopedics, the product is highly versatile and used in Plastic Surgery and Joint procedures. The design focuses on user convenience with a removal-friendly structure and a wide variety of sizes.

Available sizes range from small squares (e.g., 0.6cm x 0.6cm) to larger rectangular strips (e.g., 2cm x 7.5cm). Each box typically contains 10 packs, with each pack holding 10 individual units. The product is a sterile, single-use item (Do Not Reuse) and holds certifications such as CE, ISO 1485:2016, and GMP.
